Syerna, the Violinist's grandmother and the ex-wife of Pillared Mong, walked barefoot through the narrow streets every morning: she fed the cats, watered the flowers, and meticulously designed the stones. She was always the one placing the stones, but the road was never named after her. The neighborhood would secretly grumble, "Those bare feet shake the ground," they'd say, but the freshness of her youth wouldn't persuade anyone to take action. To those who believed everything had to be in its place... "The road laid by your hands has been written into someone else's story."

That regular ritual whispers of the quiet power of maintaining the delicate balance of collective harmony despite complaints; for no matter how humble the visible action, genuine responsibility and compassion are the most powerful forces that nourish invisible bonds even amidst social turmoil.

The Mongs are a silent utopia where colors speak instead of words, composed of color-blind individuals, each whispering their inner search. The tension between belonging and alienation, freedom and connectedness, loneliness and collective harmony creates sweet conflicts, giving rise to a new perspective each time. There is no absolute truth here; each Mong reconstructs reality through their own filter.
