Product Description / Information

“Tokki and Ikkot were the blue-orange polar opposites of the Land of Mong; every step a clash, every glance an attempt at compromise. Tokki planned each day, remaining faithful to the concrete ground of reality; Ikkot believed that every moment was part of a fairy tale. Their passion was so intense that when their hands met in the darkness of night, even the land of Mong trembled; Tokki’s footsteps on one side and Ikkot’s echoing dreams on the other, blending together to create a new rhythm.”

The energetic contrast that emanates from this couple is hidden in their very philosophy: the eternal tension between clinging to the visible and embracing the invisible. This passionate dance is reminiscent of the polarization in modern society, how realistic pragmatism and romantic ideals can transform into a love story; how the search for individual freedom collides with passionate bonds; and the tension in politics between hard-line partisanship and imaginary utopias. While Tokki’s feet are firmly on the ground, Ikkot’s heart beats in the clouds; this duo presents the Land of Mong with “the wildest symphony of the union of truth and thought.”

The Mongs are a silent utopia where colors speak instead of words, each composed of color-blind individuals whispering their inner search. The tension between belonging and alienation, freedom and commitment, loneliness and collective harmony creates sweet conflicts, giving birth to a new perspective each time. There is no absolute truth here; each Mong reconstructs the truth with their own filter.
