Rem Collection No. 1 is the first stop in the search for abstract form in marble. This work interprets marble, which appears solid and cold, by transforming it into fluid and organic forms. The balance created between the pieces, when combined, creates a sense of both geometric order and natural dissonance. Although each piece in this work appears independent, it bears the imprint of a whole. The veined structure of the marble permeates the work with a natural sense of rhythm.
