Rem Collection No. 2 represents a form language where stone attains softness. In this work, it aims to create fluidity within a geometric order. The curves and junctions of the forms convey a sense of movement hidden within simplicity. The natural beauty of the light-colored marble shimmers softly in contact with light, giving the surface a serene yet impressive character. This work both integrates with the architecture and creates a sculptural presence in the interior.
The light-toned, pink-beige-veined natural marble was cut into shapes using CNC cutting, then the edges were smoothed by hand. Each piece was meticulously sanded to achieve a matte, silky finish. The composition was mounted vertically, leaving slight gaps between the pieces. The stone's natural veining was preserved, and the entire piece was sealed with a protective matte finish.
